Win 2k restart help!!!

Thanks in advance for all of your inputs!!! My problem is that whenever i shut down my labtop from win 2k and pull out the power cord, my labtop would restart itself automatically! but this is not a problem with win 98 (my system is bual-boot)! so is there anyway that i can fix this little bug? i went in the registry and change the value of the key PowerdownAfterShutdown to 1, but that certainly did not fix the problem! Again Thanks for Your Inputs!!!

That was going to be my suggestion...check your power down options....not too familiar with 2K, but I do know it has several options to choose from.....
