writing music CDs - titles don't show up

Hi,

I am using Nero to burn a CD of MP3's.
The songs successfully show up on the CD as .CDAs, but
the title info is missing. The contents of the CD shows up
as Title 1, Title 2, or using someother non-discript convention.

How do I get the CD to be written using the titles that
exist on the PC?

enable CDDB internet, will try to search for song titles.

Also check to see if ALL the software you are using has an option to preserve id tags, if so try enabling that feature, you may have to reconvert some songs (if you had to convert them in the first place).

Also check in another player (if you have one), to see if the title data shows up there...
