Dell Optiplex GX620 Mother Board Problem.

Dear Sir,

I am first time share my problem in this forum & I hope I will learn much more.

I have dell computer mini tower gx620. I am using this computer from 2 years, Now problem is, When I connect power cord in to wall socket then automatically power LED goes ON as orange color and CPU cooling fan also automatically goes RUN. If I want to shut off from power button, not possible.

Actually, my PC was off from one month. After this period I start my pc then above mention problem occurred then I opened side cover and see some thing. I found some wet area on mother board then confirmed that that was RAT URINE because my pc back side PCI empty slot cover was not available so one rat goes into my pc and drain urine on it.

I wash my mother board with good quality contact cleaner and start but now same said problem.

Sorry...but it sounds like there is more than 'visible' damage to the motherboard. Either something is corroded beyond what a 'contact cleaner' can handle or a chip/capacitor/other electronic component is now destroyed.

Yes you r right, contact cleaner can't remove my problem but kindly guide to me how to repair my mother board? or not possible to remove my problem:confused:

There isn't going to be a 'repair'...you will either need to replace the motherboard with an identical one (very expensive) or get a new computer...this one has given its last byte.
