Lost my registration code # for MS Word

Had to reload Microsoft Word 2000 on my computer only to discover that I've lost the reg code # that came with the disks. Can't go any farther w/o it.
How do I go about getting another code #? Do I go back to Dell (where I bought the machine) or would I want to contact Microsoft? Or is there another way to get one? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Gene

I would try any and all of the above, but I doubt you're going to have much luck without "atleast" a reciept that can prove you own it......

just showed where my info was found..

edit: and even if I had shown my ENTIRE PID -Key, it still would not work for his copy of WORD...
