How do I pull up the Bios settings screen in Win 98 and Win ME?
In Win 95 I could always strike the del key during boot up at just the right time and get into the Bios.

Is this the same machine that was running 95. I didn't think the OS had anything to do with entering the BIOS. If its the same machine, then it should still be the same key. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That is correct, the BIOS loads before the operating suystem, so if it is the same machine the same key will work.

These are different machines. The win ME is running on a Dell Dimension 700Mhz. The win 98 is running on a HP Pavilion.

I think its usually F1 for HP's and Del for Dell's.

Howdy,

My HP Vectra likes F2 for entering setup.

Cheers,

This Dell Dimension 4100 utilizes the "Del" key to access BIOS http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
