I have puchased 8MB AGP card. Now how to know wheather it is of 8MB or not?

Try hitting the [Pause] key during the very first boot screen, you have to be quick, that will tell you the video BIOS version, and might give a video memory readout too.

I'll do some more looking later, can't find anything in Windows yet that gives the video memory.

yea it does at the very beginning when your computer boots up it tell you name of card how much video memory you have installed then it gives you a contigious memory count , post etc etc http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

you can also see it while in windows by right click on an open space on you desktop select properties/settings/then click on [display type]that should give you all the infomation you need about your video card........ http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
