I'm sorry.. perhaps because it's early.. but I have no idea what you mean .. could you try and phrase your question a bit more precisely?..

Sea is right. I am not sure either, but if what you are asking is how to get the files off a floppy onto your hard drive, then you open the A drive, click SelectAll (or Control+A) and all the files will be highlighted. Then click Copy (or Control+C). Choose where you want the files, open that window, and click on Paste (or Control+V). Once the files are highlighted, you can also just drag them over to the other window with your mouse. Is that what you were asking?

Nah, Sea...but did drag out my logic puzzle books recently. Makes me very literal, precise, and fussy about input lately. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

ok great.. also you could do this:
1) point your mouse to any blank portion of your desktop and right click.
2) from the drop down menu- left click on "New Folder".
3) a new folder named whatever you choose to name it will then be ready on your desktop to put these files into.
by right clicking and then left clicking on each file, you can send them individually to this new folder you have created.
let us know if you have any problems.

kmarie: Anything "valuable" like that, you should have backed up on another floppy or something (like a CD if you have a burner). God forbid it ever happens to us, but hard drives do sometimes fail. Just reverse the process above to put files on a new floppy. Format it first by right clicking on the A drive and choosing Format. (My husband and I have an ongoing argument about formatting supposedly "preformatted" disks, but I notice he formats his too...just to be on the safe side.) Also on the right click menu is Copy Disk so it will copy from the floppy to the hard drive, then prompt you to insert a new disk, and copy the contents back to the new disk.
Congrats, Sea, on the Grand!...most impressive. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
