I believe that there is a option during the NT setup to allow for dual boot...hang in and one of the others, who have much more experience with setting up NT will probably stop in and give you ALL the details...

It's easy to do. Here's the steps.

Create a primary partitiion (IE: C drive) in FAT16
Install Windows 98se
Install Windows NT 4
Install Windows NT service pack 6A (make sure you have already installed NT "networking" before the service pack if you plan to network this computer.)

That's it,the NT installer will take care of creating the files needed to dual boot your system as long as the second operating system is already installed. Because NT4 can only "see" FAT16 and NTFS partitions and Windows 98 can only "see" FAT16 and FAT32 partitions, the system partition (C drive) must be FAT16 in order to dual boot. Windows 2000 on the other hand can see FAT16, FAT32,NTFS4 and NTFS5 partitions.

Hope this helps http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hi rico,
I posted a link to an article at MCMCSE.com three days ago in the Certification forum titled "Multiple OS". (I wasn't sure where to put it.)
