delete shortcuts

how do I clear items from the menu that appears by right clicking the desktop then clicking 'new' I have cleared items from all other menus but can't find how to do this one.

The only way i can see to do that is go into control panel, display, go to the Web folder, and click on folder options, there you can see the files associated with the different things in that menu, and can add, edit, or delete them from there. I have win98SE, and that is how to do it on this OS. I have never bothered with it though.

another little annoyance sorted.

the prog in question autoruns from CD, the shortcut only informed that the CD wasn't in the drive, so it was useless and annoying.
