As I mentioned on this thread (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?p=455617#post455617), you really need to provide a lot more information so people can help you properly. For example, HP have made many models of notebooks; therefore, by telling people the specific model here will enable us to provide a quicker and more informed answer.

I'm aware of the limitations of text, and I'm certainly not trying to scold you in any way. I just want to explain how more information from your end can, in turn, mean more information in return from our side :)
