If you have a video card w/tv-out you could run that output to a vcr...they also make adapters that allow you to take the output of a standard vid card and convert it to coaxial or s-video which could also be connected to a vcr...

Hi HG; the s-video you mentioned coming out of the vid card w/tv out & connected to a vcr will record both audio/video to vhs casette ??? I checked at some stores & they all point towards devices like :: Ultimate 2000 ;; T view Micro GXA or ATI all in wonder 128:tv,vid,Graphic cards.Pl advise.

The video card should have an input for a cable from your sound card, if this is plugged in, s-video will do video and the composite/rca plug will do audio...
The All in Wonder has more inputs/outputs than you can shake a stick at, it has s-video and composite (not all vcrs have s-video)...
I would check out www.ati.com (http://www.ati.com) and look at that the AIW line of cards...
Since the output of a standard vid card is only going to do video, even if you adapt it to coax or s-video or composite, you'll also need to hook up your sound card to the vcr (probably with rca plug) to do the audio...
