I was on my Acer Power FE Desktop this afternoon and all of the sudden it was like I could not use my computer mouse to point or click, or I could not do anything at all. I thought the problem was a defective mouse, so I had two spares which I tried, and still nothing. Then I tried to log off of the desktop, and I could not do that either. It was like everything had froze up on me. I finally got off of the computer by pressing the power button on the tower. Now I am back on, but I have no idea what caused this problem. I purchased the desktop in 2006. I wonder if it is time for a new computer. Help would be appreciated, please.:confused:
