Application error

I am trying to install Roxio Creator 2010 software in a computer that had the application installed before it had a problem. The drive was formated and windos xp re-installed. After installing the application (Roxio) I got this message.

Application has generated an exception that aculd not be handled.

Process ID=0x6b4 (1716), Thread ID=0xdd4 (3540).

Click, OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

I don't know how to debug and I don't know what the message means. If anyone can help, I will be greatly appreciated.

Can I clarify what you mean.

1. You had Roxio 2010 previously installed on XP and it worked fine without any issues.
2. You then formatted the drive and re-installed XP (same SP) on the same system.
3. You subsequently installed Roxio 2010 and now you get the error message(s).

Is that correct?

Puzzling. Did you use / have the same version of WMP in both the original and the fresh install.

Otherwise, Roxio forums for you and Brendon will try to help you. If he does not know, then you are in trouble.
