I've been looking at a power conditioner for my setup (both PC and Home Theater) and I was wondering what people's thoughts on them are? Are they worth it? Are there any brands/models that stand out?

On top of it, the house I live is probably isn't up to electric standards (and probably hasn't been for a long time). I feel like if I had regulated voltage I would get more out of the electronics I'm using, but is it worth it if I haven't had any issues up to this point?

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, I'm just kinda window shopping at this point.

I use UPS devices for my desktop PCs, and also my cable modem and networking devices such as home router/wireless access point.
They are not perfect, a lightning strike will cause them to be sacrificed vs the equipment, but the power supplied is pretty clean and does not allow brownouts to occur.
Do I worry about sealed lead-acid batteries that provide the backup power? No, the batteries get recycled.
