Can you use both PC100 and PC133 RAM in a machine at the same time? Will PC133 RAM work with a motherboard that doesn't support it?

-Thanks

You should have no problem mixing 100 and 133 in most cases, as long as it is decent quality ram. Your ram speed will default to the slower 100, not 133.

Thanks Bailey. Looks like that was what was happening.

The answer is yes. The motherboard should be set up to the pc100 specs(100mhz) as not to damage the pc100. trying to use 133mhz dram speed could damage the pc100 sdram.

You can actually "overclock" Ram .......I'm running PC100 Ram solid as a rock for over 3 months @ 133 mhz...but it has to be good RAM to do it.
