Hello everybody,

I found some very powerful pc components that I'd like to buy.

First is the motherboard. (intel DX58SO) DDR3 1333/1066/800
Second is the CPU (intel i7 950 @ 3.06GHz) DDR3-800/1066
Third is the RAM (Corsair DDR3-2000MHz-2x2GB-8CL)

Now my question is that, can I make my CPU and motherboard work with 2000MHz RAM while intel's webpage says that my CPU supports only 1066MHz RAM and the motherboard supports only 1333MHz RAM?

What do you guys recommend me to do?

ya might want to go with different RAM as that MB is triple channell and would not use 2 x 2gig..................buying 2000mhz would be a waste of money as some say they get a DECREASE in speed by going too high in the RAM. Unless you are going to OverClock......then I would buy 1333 only............3 x 4gigs sticks (12g total)(use the extra money for the 12 gigs instead)...........most are buying this or the 1600 and not the 2000

But I had a little overclocking in mind. Are you sure (100%) than it can decrease my speed? Getting the highest performance is very important for me.

What do you recommend me to buy then?
Here is a big list of RAMs that I can buy: http://ak.ee/index.php?pid=10&id=96&&menyy_id=10

Any help is appreciated,
I don't want to make any mistakes in this purchase.

Thanks again!
