I'm looking for a new HSF. Awhile back Zalman was very good, so I've read here on the forums.
This is for an i7 920
GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5.
Antec 900 case, very roomy.
I am experiencing higher than avg. temps. Could be just dust build up. Looks very dusty in there.
51c - 54c idle
88c + running prime95
GPU @ 32c
Using PC Wizard and SpeedFan to take temps.
Bios also shows the same for idle temps.

What is an average temperature for this PC? If it’s dusty then why haven’t you cleaned it?

definitely a good idea to blow your system out at least every couple months, more if it is really dusty in there. zalman coolers really aren't the best, usually they do OK if you do not plan on overclocking, but I have heard a few instances where temps increased (no it wasn't me, and yes they where somewhat experienced builders). Coolermaster makes some decent coolers for pretty cheap. Also something to consider is what kind of airflow do you have inside your case, also the air flow into and out of the case. especially if you have it in a enclosed space.

Any recommendations? Besides water cooling. There will be no OC'ing
