Hi,
I have an old Dell XPS PC100 and it will not boot up. The only thing I am getting is a flashing light where the power button is? Can someone tell me what is wrong with it?

A little more system info would be useful. Include things like operrating system, CPU, and when it last worked, any error messages...

Just for future reference, the How do I area is for more of a general nature type questions, System Troubleshooting would probqbly be a better area to post this kind of question.

The OS is Windows 95 and it was a 100 mhz processor in there but I got a evergreen 300mhz accelerator. It was working fine for a while. No errors came up before it started not booting up, Only the blinking flashing light from the power come on. It sounds like it tries to boot uo but it doesn't. Could it be the hard drive or power? I don't know... Need help.

I've seen these evergreen processors at local stores and i've been curious about them; no one i've known has used one yet. When you replaced your CPU, did you set the motherboard jumpers to recognize the new processor speed? did you change the front side bus? Post your motherboard type if you can, it'll give us an oppertunity to diagnose the problem.
