Why is it that when I copy all the files on a bootable CD-ROM to a CD-R disk the resulting CD is not itself bootable? What is the correct way to make a bootable CD-ROM?

Thanks.

Pretty good description Here (http://utopia.knoware.nl/users/sanny/bootable_cd_rom.htm), the english isn't great, but good info and understandable.

If you want detail, This Page (http://www.cdpage.com/Compact_Disc_Variations/bootablecdarticle.htm) has it. Good instructions and a very good description of the problems you have to get around to create a bootable CD.

another good page with instructions Here (http://www.ora.nsysu.edu.tw/~goldentime/bootcd01.htm).

And of course, the MS Knowledge Database (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q167/6/85.ASP) has a good article on the subject.
