i have a asus KF52 notebook and it has an intergrated graphics, so i would like to know how much shared video memory it's using, i ran dxdiag on that machine and it says "Approx. total memory: 1696mb" can someone tell me wat it means? sorry i am new to these stuffs..i just wanna know how video memory it has and if there is anyway i can increase it?

I think it manages itself and it maxes out at around 1696mb.

You couldn't increase it per se; however, you may be able to increase the amount of RAM available for its use. For example, if it can use a total of 1696MB shared memory, it will use RAM from the total available to your system. The thing is, if you only have, say, 2GB onboard, the graphics cards won't be able to use its maximum because the operating system will be using RAM for its other processes.
From what I've read about this model (http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=QAVTJThr36Jox9Cf), you can max it out to 8GB of RAM and, by doing so, will provide more resources for the video card to utilise. The question being, of course, is whether or not you want to do that.
