I have two hard drives on my computer... The C drive is set-up with Windows 98. My D drive is empty, except for a folder in it that has Windows ME. I would like to set my computer up so I could either run Windows 98 or Windows ME depending on what drive I went to at boot-up. My problem is when I open the Windows ME folder on the D hard drive and click set-up it starts to load it on my C drive. I have even gone into DOS and tried to set-up from D dirictory but it still wants to load on the C drive. How can I make it load on the D drive?

thanks for your help

basicly ME is nothing more than another upgrade to the W95 kernell ( thiunk of it as W98se+) so when you try to install it, it wants overwrite your old system files ( unlike NT which is a differnt kernell, so it can be set to install seperately ). Your best bet would be to use a third party software program like Partition Magic; it will allow you install both and boot from either.
