Since I have partitioned my hard drive I have been 'tidying up' by-un installing progs, then re-installing them into the directories that I want them in, having done several successfully, I now have one that will not install. It's on a zip file on CD & it gets to about 1/3 the way through 'copying files' then I get an error message

there was an error in the move data process :-113

I have tried installing to different directories etc. also cleared all tracies out of the system & registry, but get the same result,Any ideas?

Most likely the cd is scratched, dirty or otherwise corrupted. I would try to clean the disc, use a different cd drive or see if you can get that file from somewhere else.

Hi,
I've actually managed to install it now. Did a 'custom' install rather than a 'typical' install. but I'm still a little confused as to why it didn't do a typical install.

I copied the zip file onto HD but got same result so it wasn't the CD that was scratched or dirty & it was the same zip file that I used to install it previously. Anyway panic over for now. I will try installing it onto a different machine as soon as I get the chance.
