Are you sure you have old DOS files still on your system?
Unless you do some special partitioning work, the install of Windows 98 usually reformats your drive, getting rid of all existing files.
Did you install some update version of Windows 98SE which gave you the option of keeping some DOS files?

Dinosaur,
Win9x (ME included, even though you have little control over it) contains plenty of DOS files...enough even that the versions continue, Win98 = DOS 7, and ME is 8. I think what Ruskyny was wanting is a utility that cleans up the hard drive in DOS...here (http://www.langa.com/cleanup_bat.htm) are several DOS batch files that will clean things like Temp Internet Files, Temp folders and such...
