HOW CAN I STOP ALL THE UNWANTED BANNER ADS THAT KEEP POPING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF A PAGE

THE CAPS LOCK KEY IS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD! IT KEEPS EVERYTHING FROM LOOKING LIKE THIS.
Plus it's actually more difficult to read all caps, we're all accustomed to printed information NOT being all caps, and it's usually considered yelling on the Net...
Stopping the banner ads depends on why they are there. If you're using Juno or another free Internet service of that ilk, you're stuck with them. Disabling the ads is a violation of their licensing agreement and we won't help you do it.
If it's webpages, you can look around, some applications are available that stop pop up ads on webpages, I don't know what they are os where they can be found, but a trip to Google (http://www.google.com) might turn up some useful links.
