Dear all:

I have two hard drives, one an ATA100 and another one an ATA66. Running at the different speeds seems to create a conflict, so I want to run the ATA100 drive at ATA66. How do I do this? I have read that I need to manually set UDMA from 5 to 4, but in my BIOS the only two UDMA options are "Auto" and "Disabled"

I have a KT7A mobo with a 1.2GHz Athlon, my BIOS is the latest Award version. Is there any software I could use? The ATA100 drive is an IBM and there is absolutely no help in their web site.

Regards,
Gabe

Download this program http://www.braintrust.gr/products/IBMstorage/support/zips/ibmatasw.exe

It lets you create a floppy that you boot with, and from there you can select whatever UDMA mode you like.
