I have been running *.tmp on my IBM ThinkPad iSeries laptop running Windows ME and found 62 objects of 1.16MB comprising TMP Files and File Folders, including two TMP Files, PCHD060 and PCDH161 of 1194KB and 2998KB. Which of these .tmp files will it be safe to delete to free up some much-needed harddisk space?

As a general rule .tmp files are always safe to delete-most times you really want to get rid of them because they can seriously slow down a PC, if you're not comfortable with this; simply copy them to a floppy-then delete, if something doesn't work you can then restore them. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
