Quick question... Is it possible to replace the video card on the Dell Inspirion 15r N5010?

My search says it uses "Intel integrated video graphics", not a separate video card. Typical notebook fare.
Look at tech specs here:

I do see they say you can have optional ATI Radeon video cards installed but they don't seem easy to find on the specs page.

Yeah a dedicated card is optional. But you will need to contact dell to see if it is possible to add the card. It has been a few years since I worked on Dell laptops, but when I did most, but not all, of the systems that had the option for a video card but the option was not taken the board they ended up using for the laptop did not have the graphics card connector on it.
So you need to contact them to see if it is even possible with your board. Then if it is possible you will need to buy the video card from Dell which will likely be pretty expensive. Then if you get one you will have to tear apart the laptop to install it voiding the warranty.
