I want to a second hard drive . Drive C: is running Windows ME and I want to run Windows 98 on the second Drive, can this be done? Drive C: is set as the primary master right now with the new drive set as primary slave, but I do want to run the new one for most things. I know the jumper settings for the new drive, they are set at slave but do not know the settings on the old drive. It is a 8.2 GB Fujitsu. In my computer I see C: as the old drive and E: F: as the new drive. I think that I formatted the new drive but not sure if I partitioned it. Help Thanks

Hello Bob, Welcome to the PC Guide.
I just answered a similar Q before this so I will point you in the same direction. Here (http://www.pcguide.com/ref/hdd/file/progFDISK-c.html) is a page that deals with Partitioning and Formating. You will probably have to pull the ME drive and check the jumpers as some single drives are not set as master.
As for dual booting ME and 98, I am curious as to why? They are basicly the same thing with some minor upgrades http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif in ME.

If I tell you to think for yourself, then your not doing it.
