Hey All!
I want to share an internet connection between two computers via a cable modem.
My Question: Would I be better off putting two network cards in one computer connecting the two then simply enabling internet connection sharing, or should I use a hub and connect the two that way. I realize
we only get assigned one IP address per connection but I believe the computers will get assigned two different subnet masks.
One computer will be running Win98 and the other Win 2000 Pro. Each is
set to DHCP mode since the IP assigned is not static.
Any ideas as too the best, easiest and fastest configuration would be appreciated.
Thanks,
jd
