Thanks in advance!!!
My problem is that i don't know how to install legacy softwares on a win2k client machine so that all domain users can use them when they log on to that machine! So far only administrator can use those softwares!!! Again thanks a bunch!!!

From the "Description" field of "Groups":

Users are prevented from making accidental or intentional system-wide changes. Thus, Users can run certified applications, but not most legacy applications.

Power Users possess most administrative powers with some restrictions. Thus, Power Users can run legacy applications in addition to certified applications.

Rather than put users into the Power Users group, "best practice" would be to make an OU, place users into the OU, and apply Group Policy to the OU.

I don't have W2k Server at hand right now, or I'd be more specific.

Thanks kenja! I also got another suggestion that I should find out what files that particular application access and then give the users group appropriate permissions in the group policy object! I tried it and it did the job!!! Again Thanks!
