I hope I am in the right place to put this. I am new on here and not that good with computers:(
I was trying to forward some of my messages with picures to my friends email addresses and they received the messages but not the pictures.
I have had a look and they just get a white box with a red cross in the corner.
How can I alter this. Something on my computer has altered 'cause never had a problem before.

Also did have a pop up saying that my internet explorer was working without add ons. I think I have managed to sort this out but didn't know if this might be connected.

Any advice will be truely appricated.
Thanks

First try forwarding the same email to yourself (yes from your own hotmail to your own hotmail) and see if you can see the pictures - if so the problem is likely to be with your contacts at the other end.

Which email client or browser are your friends using to collect their emails?

Are they all also users of hotmail or some other email host?

I've seen that too with some images. Never figured it out.

The white box red cross problem (http://www.google.ie/#hl=en&source=hp&q=white+box+red+cross&oq=white+box+red+cross&aq=f&aqi=g1g-v1&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=1975l7364l0l19l18l0l5l5l0l306l2642l0.6.6.1l 13&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=8bf29373d33fd6a1&biw=1366&bih=586) is an age old one - especially if viewing from Interenet Explorer. It usually means some browser setting or something blocking or an overfull cache.

The first thing I would try if I was one of your contacts would be a non-microsoft browser or email client.
