Hi again
Heres the proublem i have. I just noticed that my clock was running fast,
so i went to change the time on it and an error message came up saying,
an error occurred while windows was working with the control panel file
C:\windows\system\timedate.cpl.

then when i went back now my clock is in a military time and i went to the control panel and the same message came up. can some one help me with this
i really dont want to redo my computer again. I have a compaq pc running windows 98se. 184MB

Hi Maverick, found This (http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q250912) article about your particular problem.

Doesn't look too good. It recommends a Windows re-instal but also offers a registry workaround.

You might try doing a system file check, which will repair corrupt system
files. Start>programs>accessories>system tools>system information. Click
on tools at top and follow direction. Hope this helps.
