Favorites and links problem.

When I tried to send some things to the favorites while on line, It tells me the item(usually an address from the addy bar)is already there.I tried to overwrite it but nothing happens and nothing apears in favorites. So I decided to try and save them in the links, but when I click on Links nothing at all happens. The system is running win95 and links is checked in toolbars.

As a temporary solution, copy & paste the URLs from the address bar into a notepad file untill we have a chance to do some digging and see if we can find anything. What version of IE are you using? The IE repair tool may be an option.

An easier solution is to click on 'new folder' call it 'temp' or something then later when you tidy up, delete the old links & transfer the links from the temp folder to where you want them.
