I got a new 9-cell battery for my ThinkPad so the first thing I do with it is plug it in, turn it on and then discharge it completely and then charge it up to cycle it. Windows and SIW and IBM's battery meter all show this

Regardless if it is plugged in or on battery power. The laptop's integrated status icons say it's charging and the A/C light remains on if I am using battery power only. I've tried unplugging/replugging the battery and doing the same connected to A/C power while it's on. The battery works fine, it just doesn't display its usage correctly.

Hey 123456,

Your image is not showing up on my end. Where did you get the battery?
