hello all
i recently upped to a gtx 480 from sli 8800gt. I have been playing brotherhood lately, and i have heard of people getting 60+ fps in brotherhood with this card and i get 35-60.it only drops below 40 momentarily, but when it does, it seems extremely chuggish. Dense areas of crowd i get around 40-45 fps. my question is quite simply, is this an expected fps? or should it be higher? I cant see it being a RAM issue, as this game isn't much of a memory hog.

Also, The Sims 3 doesnt dip below 50fps, but is constantly choppy, no matter how i adjust settings? i have heard many complaints about this. is there any way to fix this?

It does not appear to be a driver issue either. have tried previous releases, but no increases in performance.

I will also note that i cannot seem to overclock my gpu Vcore using asus SmartDoctor provided with the Card, as every time i do the next time i boot games are extremely choppy -20 fps in DX9 until i re-install the driver. Any Advice?

It does not appear to be a driver issue either. have tried previous releases, but no increases in performance, nor can i re-boot properly with OC Vcore

Have you tried uninstalling the driver completely before reinstalling it? If you just slapped in the new vid card after removing the old ones without reinstalling the OS, you should uninstall the driver completely so that it's not keeping track of 3 GPUs. ;)
