Hi, I was wondering if it's possile to access MSCONFIG with WIN95, I have tryed doing START > RUN > MSCONFIG, but I get an error message:
" cannot find the file 'MSCONFIG', (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. "
I would like to be able to customise my programs that start when booted.
I remember once downloading a file called " Visual Basic Runtime Libraries ", for a program I wanted to run, would the error be related to something along that line? downloading a runtime library?

Yoda74, thank you.
And in regard to this being a school question, no, it's not.
My school cancelled IPT and IT for year 11 http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/mad.gif
Besides, If it was a school question, what does it matter?
it refers to MSCONFIG on WIN95....lol http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

I have read that PC Magazine's Startup Cop (http://www.zdnet.com/pcmag/pctech/content/18/08/ut1808.001.html) is a good WIN95 substitute for MSCONFIG.

Hi enemy,
If you want to use msconfig on a win95 machine, just make a copy, on a floppy, from a friends win98 computer. Install it in your system folder and there you are. Msconfig on a win95 computer.
I just did this for my landlady. Worked real good.
