whenI "save to favorites" a page from the internet, I can always access it from the sh/cut which is produced. The product of such a saving is a short cut and a folder containing images etc.. Can I send it by email so that the recipient can access the same page. Sorry if this is something I should already know.

Thanks
Ray

Alternate ways of doing it would be to copy and paste the url into an email or save the page to your hard drive and send it as an attachment

Thank you for your help. I experimented, bearing your advice among others.
When I had saved the relevant page to "disk", I had always said 'make available off line'. This resulted in creating a shortcut which pointed to to My Documents folder, so when I tried to send it it worked on my machine (by finding the info. in My Documents), which didn't work when it got to the recipient.
Now I don't "make available offline and it seems to work OK.

Thanks

In IE options, Send tab, set send format to HTML. When composing an email type the name of the page, or "click here" or whatever. Click Insert from the menu bar, then Hyperlink. Type or paste the URL into the box, usually I have to put a space behind it to get the OK button to work. Click OK and it's a link.
