How do I replace the startup files with the ones from the startup disk? I think FDISK /S is one way, but I want to retain all files.
John
Are you asking How to replace the boot-up system files on the hard drive?
If so you need to use “sys c:”
Or the S switch works with Format.. not fdisk
The command “sys c:” will replace the system files and NOT harm your other files
