Hi,

I have recently upgraded my computer, but whereas my old computer had a Soundblaster Live, my new one has a basic Soundblaster only.

My problem is this. I want to make a voice recording onto CD. This was relatively easy with the software provided by my old card, but the quality produced using Windows ME's Sound Recorder is awful.

Is there shareware or freeware software that would do the trick?

Thanks

Ian

I'm a litle fuzzed out from replacing a crashed server all night, but MusicMatch (http://www.musicmatch.com/) is free, and it not only allows you to play MP3's, CD's ( including ripping them ) and other music files, but i'm sure you can use it's line -in featureto make voice recordings.

It's free, but cost $20 to unlock the full version; well worth it in my opinion.
