View Full Version : "C " Drive shows display on taskbar
On my computer something weird started happening. When I start the computer everything is fine, but the only difference is that on the task bar close to the start button, I get a display of the name of my hard drive with the letter "c" next to it. It's not causing any problems but I would like to make it go away. Has anyone had to do this.

Click on it.
You should find that you have an explorer window minimized .
Just close it and it will go away

Thanks for the Response Rick, when I click on it, it does go away, but then it comes back the next time I start my computer, as where it never use to be there at all. It's not a big deal like I said it's not hurting anything I was just wondering how to stop it.

Right click on your taskbar, go up the menu to " toolbars "; then look for one with your drive name on it and uncheck it. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
