Can't log Shutterfly

I get email updates for a Shutterfly account that I must see. When clicking the email link to the Shutterfly site, I get a blank page:

The JavaScript for this page failed to load correctly.

IE, Win XP Home - used to work.

Gonna say it again...DITCH INTERNET EXPLODER!!!!!!!!

That error message is telling you everything...IE has either blocked, messed up or just plain misread the various JS files needed by the page in question. You can try blowing out the cache, whitelisting Shutterfly and updating IE, if you insist on keeping it...but since IE (MS in general) has a blatant disregard for such things as web standards (and more websites are becoming 100% standards compliant, because of Chrome, FF and others) more and more sites will appear 'broken' under IE.
