hi,
I know that XP is supposed to simplify things with the inetrnet but i am trying to set up my old account parameters I had under win98. With win98 I had the TCP/IP window where i had to set the following:
IP address
WINS configurations
Gateway
DNS configurations.

well now under XP i cant find this settings, in particular, i need the "gateway" one where i have to put 4 digits. where are these settings?
thanks

i have xp home, but the settings area should be the same.

- my computer
- my network settings
- view network connection
- hilight and choose properties
- choose properties again

is that what you're looking for?
