keeping Netbook in storage

I have a netbook that I don't use anymore so I'm keeping it for a spare computer. My question is about the battery: Since the netbook probably will not be used for awhile, is it best to remove the batter?

Yes, I would remove the battery. I would store it in a dust free and humidity free environment.
