First make sure you have the right flashing utility. aminf329.exe
Next put the ROM and the flash utility on a floppy.
Go ahead and install your peripherals as the new BIOS only affects the BIOS itself.
Boot into real DOS. Not a window mode. You can do this via a startup boot disk. CDRom support is not needed at this point.
Put in the floppy that contains the new BIOS.
type: aminf329.exe ???.rom (???=file name of BIOS)(include space between flash utility and file name)
At this point it will ask if you wish to continue. (Can't remember what it says)
While it it is flashing the BIOS, make sure you don't lose power or reboot till it finishes.
After it finishes flashing the BIOS, it will reboot by itself.
You can get more info by typing: aminf329.exe /?
But usually that is not needed.
Hope this helps.

Here's what I did for my ABIT KT7A motherboard. You might find it useful.
