Hi everyone,

Okay what is the deal. I can't figure out how to keep my drivers mapping in place. Everytime I reboot my drives mapping are gone

Please if you have any idea, let me know.

Thanks

Proe

Hi Proe,
What OS are we talking about? I know with my ME machine it very seldomly shows my network. If I do "Search", it finds everything nicely but very frustrating.
Sorry http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif I have not put in the effort to correct it yet, so I don't have an answer for you. Hang in there as someone else might http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

98 or 98SE? Have you done a windows update on this machine?
Go HERE (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) and see if you need anything.
Can you find other machines with the "Search" feature?

Once you have created the mapped drive, create a shortcut of the drive (right click, new shortcut) and place it on your Desktop.

Hopefully, you may still be able to access the drive from the shortcut! Also check you have all the updates for Win98!
