So I finally figured out how to use a news-reader and I was clicking on any porn I saw. (I got carried away). In my click-happy craze, I downloaded an EXE that Norton says is a virus. It's W32.Small.E.Trojan. I now have it in Norton Antivirus Quarantine. BUT, even though Norton can identify it, it can't fix it. When I click DELETE this item, it asks "Warning! Are you sure you want to permanently remove this item from quarantine?" MY QUESTION, if I delete this from the quarantine, and delete it from my system WITHOUT fixing the virus, will I be safe? The way they word it, I was afraid they'd just remove it from quarantine and let it infect my files. Help! Stupid porn. Also Norton says something about making a copy of the original program. I don't get it. Please help, I will be oh so grateful. I want to rid of this damn Trojan whatever. Thanks in advance.

If you search around symantec's site you'll find the info you're after.

This is copied from their site

How to determine whether the quarantined files are not needed?
If all three of the following statements are true, then it is likely that the file is not needed:
The quarantined file is identified as unrepairable
You do not recognize the file
Windows starts up normally and all programs can be run

To delete a file from Quarantine, select the file and then click Delete Item.
