I want to upgrade for more speed and have programs that I feel aren't running fast enough I believe my problem is RAM related because it's old and outdated if I need a new hard drive with faster speeds please recommend one.

I use my computer every day for many hours developing and designing websites, graphics, and 3D.

Programs Used Every Day
Adobe Master Collection Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, etc.)
Daz3D Studio
3DS Max 2012
CyberLink Power Director Ultra 10
Unity 3D 3.5
Firefox
Chrome
Skype

if you buy 2 sets of this, then you will have matched RAM..........are you sure you are using "dual channel" with 4 slots and not single channel? This would effect speed...........matched RAM is better and you say you have 6 gigs RAM?
2 x $25

$50

This is what I would do with the money left............buy a bigger monitor........23, 24, or 27 inch is nicer .....this is more of an investment as you can move this monitor to your next PC build

$169

If you bought a SSD Sata 2 then your rendering times would be faster to that drive than a HDD......more speed........ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227542

would not do any more upgrades on that PC...........unless I bought a bigger GPU card.......(and that would be faster also with rendering times with photoshop and others that you use)........but your PC looks OK
