I see some reply's have links in them to site's that provide more information on the posted question. How are those link's added to a reply?

The easiest way to add links to your posts is with the UBB Code icons to the left of the text box when you are writing a post. If you want to learn UBB code check out this [url,=http://ubbforums.infopop.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=ubb_code_page]link[/url,](commas added after url so that you can see the code)if commas are removed all you see is link (http://ubbforums.infopop.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=ubb_code_page)

You can also use other UBB codes this forum support all but the image tag
it supports (remove commas from inside brackets for code to work)

If some of the above is over your head (I needed a stepstool for much of it), maybe an explanation from a two-finger typist will help get you started.
The last category on forum main page is Testing Forum.
Go there, open a new topic
On left you will see “UBB code icons”.
Underneath that is “(click for details)”
Pretty good explanation contained therein.
Toy with icons, text, quotes etc. to your hearts content.
I’m just learning this stuff myself and it’s trial & error but on the testing forum nobody sees your f***ups. You can correct them till you get it right by pressing “edit” icon, after it posts.
Come back then, to the other guys posts and you will understand the wisdom in their explanations (and perhaps the incompetence in mine).

One correction, the IMG tag does work, but not in signatures.
Also HTML does not work, only UBB.

Thank you all for the help, especially rond36, and fixrupr. I will practice in the test forum. My cut and paste's were only looking like cut, and paste's, not turning into link's. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
