lpt port

i recently upgraded my computer from pent133 to an AMD 6.2 450
I run a software package that uses a dongle now since upgradeing it can not find security device. I have spoken to the software supplier who advised me I need to slow the Lpt port

How do I do this

in some computers LPT1 cannot be changed but lpt2 can.go into device Mgr.Click on Ports there you will find your settings.
