I zipped Si Sandra, and copied it to 2 floppys.
Now when I try to unzip it after copying it back I get a
"cant do it". Something to do with "archiving"
Could someone help please?

Don't take this the wrong way but are you putting the floppies back in the correct order?
When I wan to do something like that I use a program called split files. This settings allow you to span using floppies or by size (Kb's) I have found that there are less corruptions this way

WinZip supports multiple file spanning on removeable disk's { ie; floppies }-normally when you try to ZIP a file larger than the medium it automagicaly prompts you to insert the extra medium; then begins the file splitting process.

Normally when you begin the unzipping process, it'll prompt you for the 2nd disk so that it can get the required size/field parameters, then it'll prompt you again for the first disk to verify the data.

If you're getting field corruption error's i would look at how fast your compressing; and at the program you are using to see if it has any bugs. Doesn't hurt to make sure you do a full format on the floppies before you begin the process.

I fresh formatted the two discs before using them.
I was able to copy the first disc without any prompts until
it was full, then was prompted for the second disc.
I numbered the discs 1 & 2 and the second one has less data
than the first, so know I am right there.
I,ll try the second disc first, but if this fails, have I lost
the program?

Thanks for the help.
